With the exponential growth in technology and expanding evolution of human needs and values, there have been many advances in innovation management concepts and practices in the 21^st century.  This special session is aimed to capture some of these exciting recent advances.  For example, we can now use artificial intelligence tools to assess the market readiness of a new technology, a scientific approach for effective innovation management, and a new model of human values to build an innovative culture in an organization.
